The Ford Integrated Diagnostic System, IDS – The dealer diagnostic software scan tool. The factory Ford Motor Company vehicle diagnostic Software designed for use with Ford VCM 3, VCM & VCM II, VCMM Interfaces. IDS provides complete dealer level vehicle diagnostic for technicians to diagnose and service Ford, Lincoln, Mercury vehicles, coverage up to 2018 and forward vehicles. The new FDRS coverage starts in 2018 and newer vehicles. A software license is required to use IDS / FDRS software with a VCM, VCM II, VCM 3 Interface.
Ford IDS requires a software license subscription; it licenses to one PC, scan tool software and programming subscription. M2K provides online license for all Ford Motor Company software; IDS, FDRS, and FJDS
