ODIS VAS-6150E :

Offboard Diagnostic Information System (ODIS) is the complete diagnostic, reprogramming and service information system for Volkswagen and Audi. It combines the ODIS software loaded on a Panasonic CF-54 Toughbook with a VAS-6154A interface to provide comprehensive coverage for all VW group vehicles.
The Panasonic CF-54 Toughbook (VAS-6150E) has recently been superseded to the Getac rugged laptop (VAS-6150F)
Fischer to USB adapter cable part number VAS-5055-4 / ASE 405 258 00 000 / VAS 652 009 / ASE 652 009 00 000 will be needed to connect the VAS-6154A interface to the laptop if the laptop does not have a Fischer port.
It is recommended to use a powerful battery maintainer that is suitable for lead and lithium batteries when diagnosing or programming vehicles.
